There
is nothing more important in helping mothers get through
difficult times than the support of other mothers.
BlessingWay
offers two mother support groups for breastfeeding moms
and pregnant women. This is a chance to bring your babies
(or not) and share your joys, fears, concerns and laughter
with other women. Facilitated by lactation consultant Chris
Clark.
These
gatherings are completely free of charge and topics change
according to interest of those who gather. Information provided
on everything from vaccinations to circumcision to attachment
parenting.
Mother's
Support Groups: Three Options
One
support group meets at the Amery Medical Center in the
Solarium, fourth Thursday of each month at 10 AM.
A
second support group meets at the St. Croix Regional
Medical Center (SCRMC)
in St. Croix Falls. Second Thursday of every month at 10
AM.
An
evening group meets also at SCRMC the fourth Thursday each
month at 6:30 PM.
